Palestinian Information Technology Association of Companies

(www.pita.ps), founded in 1999 in Ramallah, Palestine as a membership-based organization for locally registered companies in the ICT sector. PITA represents approximately 85% of ICT companies including hardware distributors, software development firms, office automation vendors, Internet service providers, telecommunications, ICT consulting, ICT training and related businesses.

Trade Center
(www.paltrade.org), is the National Trade Promotion Organization of Palestine. PalTrade advocates a competitive, enabling business environment and is dedicated to improving trade competitiveness through trade promotion and capacity building.  PalTrade supports the fostering of international best business practices and disseminates trade-enabling knowledge, expanding Palestine ’s share of existing local and international markets and opening new export markets.

The Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum
(www.mbrfoundation.ae) is an initiative spearheaded by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai who has committed a personal endowment of $10 billion toward the development of a knowledge-based society in the region.


The Islamic Development Bank (IDB)
(www.isdb.org) The Islamic Development Bank (IDB) is a Multilateral Development Bank (MDB), established to foster the economic development and social progress of its member countries and Muslim communities in non-member countries in accordance with the principles of Shari'ah (Islamic Law).


UNDP PAPP Program
(www.undp.ps) As a partner in the UNDP's development network, the over-arching mission of the Programme of Assistance to the Palestinian People (PAPP) is to work on the fulfillment of these goals, especially with respect to the development of the Palestinian people.


USAID
(www.usaid.gov/wbg/) The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) funds programs that help people living in the West Bank and Gaza lead healthier and more productive lives. Since 1993, Palestinians have received more than $1.7 billion in U.S. economic assistance via USAID projects - more than from any other donor country.


The Information for Development Program (infoDev)
(www.infodev.org), info Dev is an innovative global partnership of international development agencies focused on how information and communication technologies (ICT) can help to combat poverty and promote opportunity, empowerment and economic growth in developing countries. This partnership is coordinated and served by an expert Secretariat housed at the World Bank, one of info Dev's principal donors and founders.


Mercy Corps
(www.mercycorps.org/countries/westbankgaza) Since the 1980s, Mercy Corps has helped Palestinians build a more peaceful and hopeful future by connecting teenagers in Gaza to their peers in U.S. high schools, helping people with disabilities amplify their voice in society and giving enterprising young women in the West Bank the opportunity to learn marketable new skills.


PICTI plans on expanding its partner/stakeholder support base.

Leading local, regional and international institutions are encouraged to learn about PICTI mission and to join us and to support, nurture and grow the innovative ideas of Palestinian ICT entrepreneurs.
